Day 3: The Diabetes Day

So we have been at sea for 2 days and we have elected to spend our days at the pool, people watching and drinking.  You can go for a facial or learn how to use your camera and a whole ton of other stuff, but we, in typical Raymond and Stacy fashion, go where the booze is flowing.  Mango Madness (finally figured out the name) continues to kick Rum Punch in the crotch, but I’m worried that I might be getting diabetes.  We both need to clean up a bit, and will do so while kayaking tomorrow in Croatia.

The ‘flat Dawn’ continues to get some play. In fact today we scored big with a picture of flat Dawn with the Bingo Queen.  Apparently that is a thing on this boat.

My dancing and ability to guess and sing songs (from last night) continue to make me friends.  Johanna introduced herself to me, told me she was out on the dance floor with us last night and that I reminded her of her mother-in-law.  As I fell to my knees, she said, “when she was young and sexy.” Bless her heart.

We just got back from trivia where we didn’t win but didn’t do too bad. Turns out Raymond is smarter than he looks:)  We’ve showered and are getting ready to head out for dinner.  Even thought we only had 1 day in Rome and 2 on the boat, the Mediterranean agrees with us.  I continue to bronze up.  Goddess status will be reached in a few days.  Raymond is already dark.  If only he still had his wet look mullet.

I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Croatia, here we come.  You can’t say I didn’t warn you!

xoxo,
